Wilfred “Wilf” Lawrance Wagner
On Saturday July 6, 2024, Wilf passed away peacefully just shy of his 93rd birthday.
Wilf was born and raised in Hague, Saskatchewan with 5 siblings. After Wilf left Saskatchewan, he moved to Mt. Lehman, Williams Lake and eventually settled in Armstrong in 1961, where he raised his family. Wilf was a dairy farmer most of his life along with a short stint up at the Rogers Pass in 1961 where he helped build the snow sheds. When he retired, he bred and showed quarter horses. He was quite active in the I.P.E. and was president from 1989-1990.
Left to cherish his memory are his 3 daughters, Barbara, Shelly (Melvin) and Sheila (Darryn) and numerous grand and great grandchildren. Wilf was predeceased by his son Robert in 2008.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

I want to express my sincere condolences on your loss. Wilf was a wonderful man and I am so grateful that I was able to get to know him during his time at Parkwood. He will be greatly missed.
It was an honor and a privilege to have known Wilf over the past several years. I enjoyed his love for life and his youthful sense of humor. He will be missed.

So sorry to hear about Uncle Wilf’s passing. I have so many fond memories of all the cousins spending time at Uncle Wilf and Auntie Thelma’s farm. He was such a big personality and showed so much kindness to us kids. Sending hugs and love to you all❤️
