    We are proud to be a second-generation family-owned and operated funeral home with a strong history spanning several years in British Columbia. For over 22 years, the Chasca family has proudly served the region, starting in Vernon in 2001 and expanding to Armstrong, Lake Country, and later Kamloops. As a family-owned business, we deeply understand the unique needs and traditions of the communities we serve, and we are honoured to continue our legacy of compassion and care.

    The name “Cypress” holds special significance, symbolizing strength, longevity, and resilience. The Cypress tree, a species native to B.C., has become known for its peaceful and spiritual properties. It also has a distinctive aromatic scent that has historically been used during the cremation process.
