In Loving Memory

Thaddeus “Ted” Joseph Barker

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our dad & grandpa on June 6th, 2024.

Our dad had a witty sense of humor, was a hard worker, proud and stubborn as a mule to the very end! He was born in Coachman’s Cove, Newfoundland, on April 15, 1947. He was top of his class in school and continued his education with a welding trade to which he worked for 44yrs; retiring from Highland Valley Copper Mine just outside Logan Lake, BC where he resided for many years.

Ted leaves behind three children, two sons-in-law, and four grandchildren, as well as six siblings and many other relatives that reside in Newfoundland.

Dad moved his family clear across Canada to British Columbia in 1974 and spent the remainder of his life here. He will be put to rest at Whispering Pines Cemetery in Logan Lake BC, nestled beside his late wife Patricia (Pat). May they reunite in peace 🕊️

I had the privilege of knowing Ted for a short while. We enjoyed food, laughter, cribbage and dancing.
Sending my love and condolences to Pam, Jody, Steve and families.
