In Loving Memory

Jim “Jöhann” Bepple

We regret to inform friends, family, and rockers of Kamloops area and beyond, that Jim has passed away. His presence and legacy on this planet has been one of love and generosity. He always believed in an open-door policy, and everyone was welcome.

Jim and Sue created their own United Nations among the people invited into their lives. A cold drink and a hot meal (and plates) were the foundations of what they offered anyone who came into their home.

Jim (Dad) is survived, and lovingly remembered, by Sue – his wife of almost 47 years, and by his kids Angela (Brendan), Brent (Jenn), as well as the many dear family members and friends he leaves behind.

I’ll see you at the “End of the Line”

JIm was a very generous and kind person. I have lots of memories but the best one is how he stepped up to walk my dog for me when I broke my foot. Didn’t even have to ask he just showed up on my doorstep and asked for Taz’s leash. I knew if he made curry or cole slaw, there was always some coming my way.
    Rest in peace my friend….

We are saddened and sorry to hear that Jim has passed. Diane and myself along with The Flounders, have such wonderful memories of the parties in Chase with Jim and you. We are honored to have known Jim and the opportunity to play music together. He surely was an awesome guy and musician. Love Denis, Diane and The Flounders.

  10. Mark Bossert says:

My deepesr condolences for you and your family’s loss Sue. Allan let me know.

Jim was my brother from Sunday school at 4yrs old; the Bossert/Bepple brothers doubling on my bike in Grade 1, Basketball and Volleyball teams at Brock Junior, etc. etc.

He was the best of us.

  11. Allan Echino says:

I don’t know what to say Sue….I still can’t believe it. Jo (Jim) was my “little brother” (as he was 5 months younger). Too many fond memories, as we had maintained our friendship since GRADE ONE. Yearly Bocce Tournaments with the Bepple’s, Barretts, Deols. We were called “The World Bocce Federation”, and Jim even designed/built a trophy for that year’s winner (for bragging rights). Jim was very competitive, and would never ever throw a game to allow another to win. What a life we had together, as I think back and enjoy the memories. But, Sue, I am truly sorry to lose Jim and my heart goes out to the Bepple clan (which is almost half the Kamloops population). I will play Bocce and Backgammon with him again. Hugs, Allan/Brenda

Jim was one of my favourites to work with. We talked about beer, music and kids. He was Tammy like me, and we got along great. I was so happy to see him at Christmas and see how excited he was to hit the beach. Big hugs to you all! Rest in peace brother!
