Wesley Gordon Pilkington

Wesley Gordon Pilkington, 89, of Ladysmith, BC, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2025. Born on March 22, 1936 in Princeton, Wess proudly served in the Royal Canadian Air Force from 1954 to 1957.  Upon returning to Canada, he put his mechanical abilities to use as an aircraft mechanic, retiring from the Federal Government in 2000. 

Wess was predeceased by the love of his life, Teresa (nee Murao) in 1985 and is survived by his son Ian (Kim) and grandson Beau.

Wess will be remembered for his cheerful outlook on life, his laughter, the friendships he valued and the opportunity to share a story. 

A celebration of life is scheduled for June 28 at 11:00 a.m., at Mountain View Cemetery, 5455 Fraser Street, Vancouver BC.  Interment to follow at graveside.
