Victor George Rolfe Martin
Victor George Rolfe Martin passed away on Monday, June 29, 2026.
He leaves to mourn his wife Jacqueline of 51 years, his two sons, Sheldon (Brenda), Dustin and his grandson Odin.
Victor loved motorcycles and had a motorcycle for most of his life. His happiest place in the world was riding his Honda ST1100.
He was a heavy-duty mechanic by trade and later a manager of a trucking company.
He was a kind soul with a quick sense of humour.
Vic could fix anything. If he couldn’t fix it, his family and friends would be shocked. He spent most of his life in Northern BC – McBride, Smithers and Prince George before retiring in Armstrong.
A Celebration of Life will follow later this summer.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Vic’s name to the Haugen Community Healthcare Society (HCHS) – PO Box 495, Armstrong, BC V0E 1B0.

My deepest condolences to Jaqueline and Family for the loss of Victor , Husband and Father.
I have many positive memories of Victor and his family growing up in Mcbride. And later in his career from Heavy Duty apprentice through to shop foreman. And following that as Maintenance Manager at Excel Trucking.
