Susan Margaret Currie
It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Susan on March 17, 2026, in Spallumcheen, British Columbia. She was born on February 4, 1954, in Hamilton, Ontario.
Susan was predeceased by her mother, Margaret Irving Currie Ross, and her father, Finley Currie. She is lovingly remembered by her brother Harris Currie; her sisters Laurie Currie and Janet Currie; her brother Douglas Ross; her son Devon Thane (Amanda Guilter); and her cherished grandchildren, Aksel Thane and Jolene Thane. She will also be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews, as well as by the many animals she cared for and loved, her horses, dogs, and cat.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 30, 2026 at her home with a hike to follow.

Susan was my coordinator at Interior Health many years ago , losing touch a few years back. She was such a bright light, bringing joy and innovation to the workplace and treating all with dignity and respect. Having Susan as a friend and mentor was an amazing gift in my life. She will be truly missed by many. We all were blessed by having known her. Just wanting to pass along my sincere condolences to Devan and her extended family during this time of loss.
