It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a loving husband and father.

Lawrence Henry Ridley

March 20th 1936 – June 15th 2026

Passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his family.

He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years Bev Ridley and his children Noel (Bob) Somersgill,

Carol Harris (Bob Bruns), Wendy (Gerald) Bennett, Kelly Ridley (Janene Quinn),

Allan Ridley (Brittany Juric), his 15 Grandchildren and 25 Great-Grandchildren, His Brother- in-law David (Gail) Rookes, Sister-In-law Karen (Darryl) Sochan and many nieces and nephews and cousins.

He was preceded by his son Jackie Ridley and parents Jack and Doris Ridley.

Lawrence was born in Kinistino, Saskatchewan. He worked on the family farm.

Lawrence loved hunting, fishing, camping with family, skiing, skating, hockey and curling.

Lawrence loved taking Bev dancing and he loved spending time with his family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Lawrence loved playing his accordion.

A celebration of life will be held at the Vernon Army and Navy, 

October 2nd, 2026, 11 am – 2 pm
