Kathy Marie Getschel, age 50, of Armstrong, British Columbia, passed away on May 30th, 2025, at Vernon Jubilee Hospital.
Born on November 11th, 1974, in Edmonton, Alberta, Kathy was the beloved daughter of Roy and Barbara Getschel. She was known for her kindness, her deep love for family, and her quiet strength.
Kathy is survived by her husband of 23 years, Allan and her children, Anthony, Patrick, Cheyanne, Destiny, and Jayden; her cherished grandchildren, Bennett, Owenn, Ella, Aria, Tyler, and Orion; and her siblings, Tammy, Michael, Keith, Carl, and Michelle. And her parents, Roy and Barbara.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2025 at 11:00am at Cypress Funeral & Cremation Services (2980 Smith Drive, Armstrong, BC).
Kathy’s strength, compassion, and unwavering love will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew her.

Had good memories of her when living in Kelowna BC from bunfires to drinking to musice be played loud you where a great friend someone who had an open mind and a strong will to help people and friends in need you will always be in my heart may you rest easy knowing you have alot of people who loves you dearly prayers also go to close family and friends I’m shocked still that your gone 😞
