In Loving Memory
Don McLaren

Don McLaren was a beloved husband, father, brother, and uncle whose life was shaped by family, friends, hard work, and a love of creating with his hands.
Don was a devoted husband to Maureen for more than 62 years. Together they shared a lifetime of love, companionship, and memories. He was a proud father to Jim and Sheryl, the oldest brother to Gerry (deceased), Barry, Anne, and Al, and an uncle to David, Bobby, Shelly, Dara, Cameron, Katie and Dani.
Don was fortunate to develop many lasting friendships, some dating back to his school days and others formed during his working years. These enduring friendships were a testament to the connections he made along the way and the shared experiences that kept people in his life for so many years.
Born in Kamloops, British Columbia, Don spent most of his life in the lower mainland before returning to Kamloops for his retirement years.
Don spent many years working at Air Canada before retiring. He later joined the team at Home Depot where he continued working before retiring for good.
Throughout his life, Don had a passion for woodworking and spent many years creating beautiful pieces of furniture. His craftsmanship and attention to detail produced pieces that will be treasured for generations. He was also a keen gardener who enjoyed tending to his garden and watching things grow.
Don will be fondly remembered by his family and his many friends.
Those who had the privilege of knowing him will ensure his memory lives on for years to come.
