In Loving Memory
Angela “Angie” Louise Bassett

Angela (Angie) Bassett; partner, sister, mother, grandmother and troublemaker passed away on Thursday, April 9. She was surrounded by her family and close friends. Angie was a bright and creative spirit. She loved music, nature and animals and crafts. She loved to laugh and loved her garden. She had an amazing caring soul and would often welcome people into her home when they had nowhere else to go. She was a bright and loving spirit and she will be missed by all who knew her. Angie is survived by her life partner Walter, daughters Dawn, Trista and Nicole, her sons in law John and Don and her grandson, William as well as many other friends and family members. There will not be a formal funeral or viewing. Instead, we welcome your thoughts, comments and stories about mom which will be added to a memory box for her family and close friends. Angie had a particular fondness for felines and her favorite animal charity was Critteraid, so, in lieu of cards or flowers, and if you are able, please make a small donation to Critteraid (https://critteraid.org/donations) in her name.

We loved Angie so much. She was so fun and loved life. She was very compassionate about the things she loved. We will miss our conversations with her, and the laughter. RIP Ang

Aunt Angie will be very missed! She was such a bright light, and so sweet! We certainly didn’t get to see her enough over the years.
Woody, Dawn, Trista, Nikki, & family;
Sending our love and condolences to you all, on your loss.
We will hold in our hearts the memories of the laughs
and smiles we’ve had with Angie over the years.
Her sassy, feisty nature, surpassed only by her big heart.
The first time I met her, I was welcomed “into the fold”
with open arms, and she will not be forgotten.
Bug hugs,
Tammy, Pierre, Tyler, Robin & K.
It’s either 53 or 54 years ago that I first met you, oh how time flies. RIP dear friend. I will really miss our once or twice a year visits.
Bob ) now deceased) and I met her through her partner Walter , known to us as Woody. We met many times at the husky in Chiliwack BC . Angie and I didn’t do anything much together, but she was nice to chat with when the others were talking trucks and cars .Her girls and my girls played together or went to the same school. So that was always something in common. Our children!
Was sad to hear she passed, but sure hope her family and friends will miss her very much !💐💜
