Susan was my coordinator at Interior Health many years ago , losing touch a few years back. She was such a bright light, bringing joy and innovation to the workplace and treating all with dignity and respect. Having Susan as a friend and mentor was an amazing gift in my life. She will be truly missed by many. We all were blessed by having known her. Just wanting to pass along my sincere condolences to Devan and her extended family during this time of loss.
    Blessings,
    Gloria

We were shocked to hear of Susan’s passing when we saw it recently through Castanet. We are now in Penticton.
Susan used to visit us occasionally when she was in Kamloops shopping with a girlfriend. Susan and I completed our 300 Hour Yoga Teacher Training together. She stayed with us in in our RareBirds Housing Cooperative and was very well received there by all our housing members. We spent some lovely meals together and long into the evening chats while we hosted her. We kept in touch. She spoke often about how important her children and grandchildren were to her. We send our warmest caring and condolences. She was also well loved by the group of 7 students and our teacher Lila during our 6+ months of teacher training midway through the pandemic.
Dan, my husband, also officiated an online Celebration of Life for Susan’s mother a few years ago. We will miss her and we hope the long and loving family memories will keep her alive in your hearts as she will be in ours.
