William Grant Sutton

Bill passed away 10 April 2023 in Armstrong, BC at 90 yrs of age.

Born in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan to Irvine and Marjorie Sutton, Bill followed his older brother Robert to British Columbia to attend UBC, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Forestry in 1955.  

It was in Vancouver that he met and married Phae, and together the young couple had four children.

He worked for Cooper-Widman Ltd. selling wholesale lumber, his job taking the family to various places in Canada and the US before returning to the Vancouver area.  

He and wife Sharon called North Vancouver and Abbotsford home.

With wife Yvonne, Bill later moved to enjoy life in the Okanagan.

His last few difficult years were spent at Pioneer Square and Pleasant Valley Manor in Armstrong, BC.

Dad loved good food, wine, music, golf and dogs, and always had a joke to share.

He leaves behind his sons Greg, Michael and Scott, daughter Joanne and favourite son in law Rudy Dyck, nieces Cheryl, Leslie, Julie and Janice, and grandson Jonathan Sutton.

Predeceased by his parents, brother Robert and nephew Alan.
