In Loving Memory
Ward Henry Dale

Ward Henry Dale, age 65, passed away on December 28, 2025, in Enderby, British Columbia, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Ward was born on October 6, 1960, in Vernon, BC, and spent his entire childhood growing up in Kingfisher, a place he always considered home. After graduating, he completed his mechanic’s ticket and moved to Alberta, where he worked for ICG Propane. After returning to Enderby, Ward worked for the Forestry Service as a fire warden. He then worked for Roger Hatt building log homes, followed by many years at D-Most Tire in Salmon Arm. In his later years, he worked with Roger Sauvé doing carpentry both locally and in commercial spaces, before continuing carpentry work independently throughout Kingfisher and Enderby.
In 1988, Ward met his partner, Barb Bannister, and together they welcomed their daughter, Reanne, in 1994. After purchasing their home below the falls in 1990, Ward and Barb later moved onto the Dale family farm in 2014. They later spent time residing in Grindrod and Enderby.
Ward is lovingly remembered by his partner, Barb Bannister; his daughter, Reanne De Boer (Colton); and his cherished grandchildren, Harper, Walker, and Palmer. He is also survived by his mother, Marion; and his brother, Alec (Angela). Ward was predeceased by his father,
Robert, and his brother, Alan.
Ward loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing, and took pride in hard work and time spent with family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at Kingfisher Community Hall (3337 Enderby Mabel Lake Road, Enderby).

Dear Barb, Reanne ,Marion and family.
I am so sorry to hear of Ward’s passing. I will always remember the good times I had with him and Rodger when they did the reno’s on my house. He was a kind man who worked hard but also had a sly sense of humour that I enjoyed. We had many a laugh over coffee and cookies during our months that they did my home and he was a fine craftsman’s.
I’m so sorry for your loss.
Sincerely
Jade
