In Loving Memory
Wade Wieringa

It is with incredible sadness that we announce the passing of our son (Jacob) Wade Wieringa on March 1, 2025.
He is survived by his parents Jake and Cindy Wieringa, his aunt Grace Wieringa and cousins Sarah and Meagan.
Wade was born May 2, 1988, and grew up on the family dairy farm in Armstrong. He was filled with curiosity and loved exploring and researching everything. We have many fond memories of Wade with life on the farm, Snowboarding at Silver Star, out with the boat Tubing and Wakeboarding, numerous family trips to Hawaii, Cuba, Disney and many trips to the Oregon Sand Dunes Quading and Camping. The Dunes were a special place for Wade. Life was good! Wade excelled in school and his grades were at the top in all his classes. He loved being with his buddies honing their skills with computers, gaming, cameras, music or anything having to do with electronics and he was the Tec guy for a bunch of us.
Sadly late onset severe Schizophrenia robbed Wade of his adult life and it became a huge struggle for him. We are so proud of how hard he fought and battled this terrible disease. Through all the ups and downs Wade was always kind and gentle to everyone and will be deeply missed by those that knew and loved him. RIP Buddy.
Thank you to so many people employed by Interior Health and CMHA for their care, guidance and support for Wade and us. We would be grateful to anyone wishing to make a donation in Wades memory to please do so at CMHA as they help support so many individuals in our communities.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Wade was a beautiful and gentle soul. He had loving support from his parents and his team. I still see him leaving with his dad to go out to fly his drone.
Wade, I will miss your goofy smile….RIP
