In Loving Memory
Tina Marie Litven
Tina was born on December 21, 1971 and sadly lost her courageous battle with illness on March 27, 2024.
Our hearts ache tremendously for the loss of such a beautiful soul. Tina’s strength throughout her fight for many years was absolutely admirable. The love she had for her family and friends was not only heard but felt so deeply as she made sure to make that known. Tina always had the right words, the tightest hugs and the warmest of smiles. We are heartbroken however, within that hurt, we are grateful for all the wonderful memories, and love that we got to share with her. Tina always put everyone else first and herself second. She loved her cat, sometimes we all thought more than people.
Tina was born in Langley BC to Ed and Mary Litven. Soon thereafter, Tina met the love of her life Dwayne Dilts and after residing in Lumby BC for a few years moved to raise their wonderful son Brett in central Alberta. Tina and family recently moved back to BC to be closer to friends and family.
Tina is predeceased by her mother Mary, father Ed, Litven, and her sister Susan Brown(nee Litven)
Tina is survived by her husband Dwayne Dilts, son Brett(Victoria) Dilts, her mother-in-law Jackie, her sisters; Sandy(Lenz) Hug, Debbie Gelter, brother; Terry(Sharon) Litven, her in laws including sister and brother in laws as well as all of her nieces and nephews who loved her very much.
As our hearts ache at this time we recall Ecclesiastes 3:4- Theres “A time to weep and a time to laugh; A time to mourn and a time to dance”. Right now we mourn and later we shall dance at Tina’s celebration of life which will be June 22nd, 2024. More details to be announced. Thank you to everyone who has reached out and sent flowers, her family is very appreciative.
