Terence Bruce Klassen

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Terence Bruce Klassen, who left us unexpectedly on September 7, 2025, in Vernon, BC, at the age of 62. Terry was born on August 19, 1963, and lived a life full of laughter, hard work, and love for those around him.

Terry will be lovingly remembered by his sisters Kay (Al) and Debbie, sisters-in-law Angelika and Jude, and his devoted partner Lorelei Krueger. He will also be dearly missed by many cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and countless good friends.

Terry was predeceased by his parents, Jim and Jean Klassen; brothers Dick, Brian, and Curly; sister Linda; and brother-in-law Dale.

Terry had a zest for life and found joy in simple pleasures. He loved cheering for the Canucks, watching football, fishing, camping, and sitting by a backyard fire surrounded by family and friends. His heart belonged to the outdoors, whether golfing, traveling to Mexico, or his adventure to Haida Gwaii last year. Terry was also known for his skills in roofing and carpentry, trades that reflected his strong work ethic and craftsmanship.

A celebration of Terry’s life will be held at the Armstrong Cemetery on August 21, 2026, at 1:00pm.

He will be remembered for his humor, his warmth, his goofy smile and the way he always made time for the people and places he loved most.
