In Loving Memory
Stanley Delbert Lindstrom

It is with heartfelt sadness we announce the passing of Stanley on January 21, 2025 in Armstrong, BC. He was born on June 18, 1932 in Dryden, ON. Born to Enfred and Beda Lindstrom, he was the second youngest of eight children. He was predeceased by all his siblings.
In his younger years, he logged with horses and was a fishing guide in northern Ontario. He met the love of his life Sonja Ponka in Red Lake, ON and they married on July 29, 1959. They celebrated 54 years of marriage prior to her passing. They moved to Prince George, BC in 1966 with their two young children Debbie Elvish and Enfred Lindstrom. They were blessed with two more children Arvid Lindstrom and Jeffery Lindstrom (both deceased).
Stanley worked in the logging industry as a heavy equipment operator, later working as a fabricator and he could create and manufacture parts to work. He was a jack of all trades. In 2013 Stanley and Sonja relocated to Armstrong, BC to be closer to their daughter. Stanley was very independent and lived on his own more than 10 years after his wife Sonja passed away in 2014. Stanley was a happy and easy-going person, whom loved animals, especially his daughters dog Lacey. He loved nature and the outdoors.
