In Loving Memory

Sandra LaLonde

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sandra Lalonde, a beloved mother, grandmother, and foster parent, who left this world on January 24th at 12:30 pm in Kamloops, BC, Canada. Surrounded by loved ones as she went home to the lord.

Sandra was a pillar of strength, resilience, and love throughout her life. Born on August 7th, 1943. She embraced every moment with a spirit of kindness that touched the lives of all who knew her. Sandra’s warmth and compassion were evident in the way she cared for her family and the many foster children she welcomed into her home.

Sandra is survived by her three devoted sons: Wayne, James, and Daniel, and Sisters Debbie and Margaret. She was predeceased by her late daughter, Suzanne,  and her siblings Donna and Dave who undoubtedly welcomed her with open arms in heaven.

Sandra leaves behind a legacy of love and creativity, as she is survived by 19 great-grandchildren. Her nurturing spirit will live on through the generations, as she played a significant role in shaping the lives of those she held dear.

Her memory will be cherished by all who were fortunate enough to have known her. Sandra’s life was a testament to the power of love, selflessness, and resilience. In her passing, we remember her as a beacon of strength and kindness, and we find solace in the knowledge that her legacy will continue to inspire those she touched.

She was the best mother you could ever wish for.

  3. Cassandra jackson says:

Grandma, you were one of the most amazing important person in my life. Even though we didn’t talk a lot just knowing you were a message away to talk to about life made me feel better.
You made my childhood fun, the yard sale we would go to the different parks we went to and all the different crafts we would do together. You were the most creative person I knew. And I would like to think I take that from you.
One of our last road trips we took when james and I were out was one of the funniest moments. You laughed when I told james to Chase the bear and you laughed at him when he said ( oh look a deer farm) and you kept bugging him about that. We talk about about our trip and how I am so happy that you guys got to meet.
I love you each and every single day and i miss you each day.
Please say hi to my mom and give her a big hug for me..
    until we meet again.
    Love Cassandra and james

Sandy you will be remembered fondly. You are Grandma to a lot of Niki and Dan’s friends. You let me stay with you when I lived out in BC, and truly appreciated that. I will always remember craft nights at Salvation Army you taught me so much I love you Grandma RIP

  5. Dan Russell says:

Some time I will just sit down and meet up with you for a great conversation about how to make sure that the most important thing is that I will have a look at the day and I have the best of my time and not to be a part of it but to be honest and to love and care for the day ❤️

  6. Bruce Russell says:

Your at peace now Sandy. I will miss you sister.

  7. Suzanne & Smoke says:
