In Loving Memory
Roger Arksey
Our cherished Father, adored Grandfather, and dear Uncle passed away peacefully on February 10, 2024, on his 74th birthday after bravely battling dementia. He was surrounded by the warmth and love of his family.
Roger was born on February 10th, 1950, to Kenneth and Anne Arksey. He grew up and spent most of his life in Kamloops BC, working and raising his family.
Outside of family life, Roger was known for his hard work, loyalty, and determination. He earned the respect of his colleagues by approaching every job or task with integrity and diligence, always willing to take on a job and to get the job done.
As a devoted father, Roger was always there to offer advice, guidance, support, and encouragement. He took pride in watching his daughters and grandchildren grow and succeed. His generosity, kindness, and boisterous laugh left a lasting impression on all that knew him.
Roger found joy in the simple pleasures of life. His family meant everything to him, and Roger had a love for cooking. He could be found every Sunday in the kitchen cooking a big family dinner utilizing any kitchen gadget he could get his hands on. All to bring his family together.
Roger leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and compassion that will continue to resonate in the hearts of all that knew him. He is survived by his daughters Theresa (PJ), Stacie (Victor), and grandchildren Tiago (Caila), Mason, Owen, Tavo, Lucy, great-grandson Zion, and many nieces all of whom will carry his memory forward with love. We take much comfort in knowing he is at peace reunited with his parents, and brothers Ken, Stan, and Rick.
There will be a gathering to Celebrate Roger’s life at a later date. Please reach out to Stacie or Theresa for more information.

I remember some of those meals he made. They were enjoyable times. Thinking of the family. God bless
Roger & I were best of friends for many years going way back to our teenage years. We worked together at Balco for 3 or 4 years then both got into the construction industry. A few visits to Ft. McMurray and back to Kamloops.
I spent many days at the Arksey household enjoying Moms good cooking and hospitality.
I had the honor of being Rogers best man when him & Donna married.
Ken, Stan Roger & Rick Arksey…4 great brothers all gone too soon!!
I know Roger will get them together and they’ll enjoy a cold one or two up there!!
Roger please give your bros the best and R.I.P. my good friend.
