Perry Donald Wieringa

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our younger brother Perry Donald Wieringa on January 13 2023. He was 56 years old.

He was predeceased by our Dad in 1989 and just a short time ago by Mom in June of 2022. Perry is survived by his partner Teresa Hayes, his brother Jake (Cindy) and their son Wade and by his sister Grace and her daughters Sarah and Meagan.

Perry was born in Vernon on June 13, 1966 to Douwe (Don) and Neeltje (Nellie) Wieringa. He grew up on the family farm in Armstrong and later moved to Calgary where he worked in construction.

Perry was known for his love of the outdoors, camping, fishing and especially riding his mountain bike. We have fond memories of him beating on his VW Baha bugs. He had a passion for hot rod cars and you could always catch him sketching them.

We are going to miss that mischievous grin, his free spirit, big heart and kind soul.

We would like to thank Terry and Deanna Thoms for being such good friends to Perry.
