In Loving Memory

Patrick Allan Aikin

It is with great sorrow to announce the passing of Patrick on December 5, 2024. Pat is survived by his wife Sherry, his mother Elizabeth Aikin, Sisters Deb (Jim) Marten, Donna (Gary) Lavigne and brother Michael (Laurel) Aikin, and nieces and nephews Chantal (Marshall) Winser, Danielle (Pat) Murphy, Brad (Monique) Lavigne, Rob (Steph) Lavigne, Sarah (JO) Chicquen and Chris (Lauran) Aikin and their children. Pat is also survived by his dog Hendrix.

Pat was born in East Vancouver on October 31, 1961 and enjoyed the early part of his childhood there. Pat and his parents moved to Barriere, B.C. in the mid 70’s where he developed a great love of the outdoors and camping. In 2001, Pat met Sherry and they married in 2002. In 2004, they moved to Armstrong and enjoyed many years of camping with their dogs. He had a great love of dogs and enjoyed spending many hours with his pets. Pat loved nothing better than sitting by a campfire sipping on a cool one and playing a few tunes on his guitar. His love of the outdoors was only outdone by his love of music. He was an extraordinary singer and guitar player and spent countless hours entertaining friends and family. Pat was also a great woodworker and loved creating the many projects he built over the years.

He will be deeply missed by all his friends and family.
