In Loving Memory

Paravdeep Singh Aujla

With heavy hearts, we share that our beloved son, brother, and father, Paravdeep Singh Aujla, passed away peacefully in his sleep on August, at the age of 42. Born on January 6, 1983, in Vernon, British Columbia, Paravdeep lived with a quiet depth, a warm heart, and a love that flowed easily toward those around him.
At the center of his life was his son, Kenneth Gage Singh Oppenheimer, his pride, his joy, his greatest purpose. Every plan he made, every hope he held, was shaped by his devotion to Gage. Paravdeep also had a gift for gathering people. A considerate host, he wanted you to feel comfortable at his home. When family, cousins, and friends came together, even after long years apart, his smile could fill a room, making each person feel seen, valued, and loved.
He found beauty in art, especially music and film, and often sought the stillness of solitude to immerse himself in them. From these quiet hours, he emerged with new visions and ideas that reflected his thoughtful spirit. He loved snowboarding, exploring the outdoors, and creating moments, both grand and small, that brought joy to those he cherished.
Paravdeep will be forever missed by his son, Gage, his parents Hardev and Gurbakhash, and his sisters Pavan, Sunny, and Raji. He leaves behind a wide circle of family and friends whose lives are brighter for having known him.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to a scholarship fund for Gage’s education:

  3. Pavan Aujla says:

Every time I think of you, my heart aches. Missing you, deeply. I see you through mom and dad daily and Gage. I feel their pain and the depth of the void. To see them losing their son and father is more aching then any thing I have every experienced in this world. I pray you’re in peace and looking over us. As you will forever remain in our hearts. When I remember you, I remember our childhood, the little boy who grew up with me. You will always be remembered that way. With all the love in the universe, I promise to keep Gage close to those beautiful memories. From when you were little and from when Gage was as baby, until he’s all grown up and beyond. Yesterday we went through your pictures and I told Gage stories about you. He loves hearing them, and I can feel the depth of his love for you. You left him with memories he will cherish his whole life. But the void in mom and dad’s heart will take time, time – the ultimate healer but also the ultimate thief.
My brother until we meet again <3

    I love forever and always.
