In Loving Memory

Pamela Helen Guenard

Pamela Helen Guenard, born March 17, 1954, 3rd daughter of George and Connie Guenard of Burton, BC.

Pam spent her first 12 years on the family farm in Burton, close to many Guenard relatives and surrounded by the beautiful nature of the Arrow Lakes. Many days were spent exploring the forest and beaches on the horses with sisters and cousins.

In 1966, the family moved to Lavington after the farm was taken for the flooding of the Arrow Lakes. School in Lavington, Lumby and Vernon followed. Pam graduated from VSSS in 1972.

Pam worked for Consumers Glass in Lavington for many years. From select and packer, first aid attendant to forklift driver, she was committed to her work. When the plant closed, Pam’s many years of working shift work had taken a toll on her health. She worked for Graydon security until she retired.

Pam lived at Coldstream meadows and the Hamlets in Vernon after her declining health warranted it. She was incredibly independent, so moving to assisted living was a challenge. She made such good friends in both communities and was particularly thankful for the care and support of Rose and Sue

Pam died at the age of 69 on November 30, 2023. She was predeceased by her parents and her older sister, Linda Tagami. She’s survived by her sisters, Poppy Peacock and Sheila Guenard,  brother Warren Weir (Helen), stepmother,  Myra Guenard, and her niece’s, Sherri LeBlanc, Tammy Fry and Laura Peacock and her nephews, Mike Tagami, Chris Guenard and Scott Guenard.

In keeping with Pam’s wishes, there will be no service.
