In Loving Memory
Myrna Dianne Rennie

It is with great love and sadness that the family of Myrna Dianne Rennie announces her passing at home on October 30, 2025, surrounded by her family.
Myrna was born in Biggar, Saskatchewan, on April 30, 1945. She will be deeply missed by her beloved husband Alan, her devoted son John (Yukon), her brothers Jim (Edmonton) and Gerry (Saskatoon), her sister Linda (Regina), and her sisters Catherine and JoAnne.
For over 45 years, Myrna shared her passion and expertise as an exceptional gardener, known and sought after for her deep knowledge and gentle guidance. Her kindness, humility, and warmth touched all who knew her.
Her legacy lives on in every garden she tended and every bloom she nurtured.
A Gardener’s Legacy
The flowers I planted still will grow,
Their petals bright in morning’s glow.
Though I must leave, my work remains,
In every bud that feels the rain.

Final Touch
It is with great sadness that we express our sincere condelences to you Alan, and the rest of Myrna’s extended family. Reading that Myrna originated in Biggar, Saskatchewan sure explains a lot about her warm and always cheerful personality. She never lost her prairie charm. It was a privilege to get to know Myrna as a client, as a contractor, as a skilled botanist, and as as a friend. We have shared some exciting and sad times, particularily saying goodbye to her cherished dogs over the years. We have all, dogs and humans alike, greatly benefitted from having known Myrna. She will be profoundly missed. Much love, Ken & Karen
We are so sad to hear that Myrna has passed away after fighting a brave battle with cancer for some time.
We will remember her as a quiet, gentle person who readily gave gardening advice and cared for our garden until she moved to Armstrong.
She was such a talented lady, making beautiful Christmas wreaths and table centres, and for crafting wicker furniture.
I know she will be sorely missed by Alan especially, and by all those who knew her.
With much love from our family.

Myrna Rennie,
1945 – 2025
She was a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend, and dedicated caretaker of the earth. Myrna cultivated the opportunities her life provided, creating a more beautiful world in the face of many obstacles that challenged her. Her last year with us was arduous. Facing a terminal illness, she summoned formidable strength, moving forward with courage, embracing those who loved her. She modelled grace and determination in the face of an aggressive cancer.
Rest in profound peace, my dear sister.
Myrna and Alan have been the best neighbours anyone could ask for.
Myrna was always available with gardening advice and help, and would generously give treasures from her garden as well as her beautiful crafts.
She and Al patiently looked after our dog when we were away, and always offered to help with any situation.
She was one special lady, and we will miss her gentle presence.
Our hearts go out to Al, and the family, as they face this great loss.
