Murray Allen Cooney

Feb.13th 1948 – March 8th 2024

Murray was born in Vernon B.C. to parents Raymond and Patricia Cooney. Murray worked as an accountant starting in Lumby with his mom Pat and later carried on to his own business with many life long clients that he considered as friends.He had a passion for helping people and family was everything to him especially his grandchildren and his grand-dog pickle. He touched many lives and will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his wife Michelle son Joshua,daughter Nicole(Desiree) son Chad (Krista) grandchildren Tyler,Brenden,Shea. Brother Doug(Jeanette) nephew Dawson, niece Paige.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Canadian Alzheimer’s society.

A celebration of life will be held @ a later date.
