Mitchell “Mitch” Todd Shore
April 16, 1961 - March 4, 2024
In Loving Memory
Mitchell “Mitch” Todd Shore
Mitchell “Mitch” Todd Shore, age 62, passed away on March 4, 2024, in Vernon, B.C. leaving us far too soon. Mitch was born in Drayton Valley to Marlene Ann Shore & Willis “Bill” Morley Shore on April 16. He is one of four siblings: Troy Shore, Billy Shore, and Darlene Hogan. Mitch is an accomplished, retired, helicopter pilot and a respected leader in the oil/gas industry.
In his time off he loved to hit the open roads on his Harley. Fishing fulfilled his passion for the outdoors & wildlife.
Being a proud dad of 2 children, Cory & Tiana Shore, he gave them the hearts of lions, the love of family, and an insane work ethic.
His family and friends meant the world to him & creating a divine meal showed his love for you. With his quick wit & humour, his presence lit up the room making a lasting impression on everyone he met.
Mitch will be lovingly missed by his wife, daughter, son, daughter in law, granddaughter, father, brother, sister, and their families as well as many other extended family members. He will also be dearly missed by his aviation & pipeline “family”, friends, and all who knew him.
He was predeceased by his loving mother, Marlene Shore, and brother, Billy Shore.
We will love you always and miss you forever.
Please join us as we all come together to honor & celebrate the life of Mitch Shore on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at 2:00pm at the Armstrong Centennial Hall – 3120 Pleasant Valley Road. There will be a reception to follow.

Worlds a Lesser Place Without Mitch…Resting at Peace
Mitch was one of my favorite cousins. That’s saying alot when I have 22 of them on the SHORE side. He was a real joyful and considerate soul. A pleasure to be around.
I hope to see you, Mitch, one day in Glory.
Best Wishes for a Happy Landing from

A fitting song:
Some glad morning when this life is o’er
I’ll fly away
To a home on God’s celestial shore
I’ll fly away (I’ll fly away)
I’ll fly away, Oh Glory
I’ll fly away; (in the morning)
When I die, Hallelujah, by and by
I’ll fly away (I’ll fly away)
When the shadows of this life have gone
I’ll fly away
Like a bird from prison bars has flown
I’ll fly away (I’ll fly away)
I’ll fly away, Oh Glory
I’ll fly away; (in the morning)
When I die, Hallelujah, by and by
I’ll fly away (I’ll fly away)
Just a few more weary days and then
I’ll fly away
To a land where joy shall never end
I’ll fly away (I’ll fly away)
I’ll fly away, Oh Glory
I’ll fly away; (in the morning)
When I die, Hallelujah, by and by
I’ll fly away (I’ll fly away)
Our sincere condolences to the Shore Family.
