Mark Allan Paquette

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mark Allan Paquette on November 27, 2023.  He was 57.

Mark was born in Terrace, BC in 1966 and early on he moved with his parents and 3 brothers to Kamloops where he went to school and then met the love of his life, Kyna, when he was in his early 20s.  Together they moved to the Okanagan and spent many happy years there raising their two sons, Alec and Austan.

Throughout his youth Mark played baseball and was a member of the Sandpipers. He continued to love baseball throughout his life and also had a fondness for golf.

Work brought the family back to Kamloops in 2014 and in 2021 Mark started working for BC Transit, a job he was very dedicated to and loved.

Mark will always be remembered for his love of cooking and creating tasty dishes. His culinary skills were impeccable and he greatly enjoyed creating meals for anyone who wanted to stay for dinner. He loved entertaining and was always the life of the party.

A celebration of his life will be held at the Odd Fellows Hall in Kamloops on May 19, 2024 at 1 p.m.
