In Loving Memory
Marion Parker
It is with great sadness and the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of Marion Evelyn Parker after a very brief illness. She spent the day before her passing, surrounded by loved ones as she turned 75 years old and in the early hours of Oct 1st, she peacefully passed away with her daughters by her side.
Marion was born in Kirkland Lake, Ontario. She moved to Revelstoke, BC in her late teens, where she lived until 1980. She then moved to Vernon BC, where she remained until her passing.
Marion is survived by her two daughters, Kathy Ridley, Darlene Lentz and son in law Christopher Lentz. She was a loving gramma to 7 grandchildren, Tahia, Shaylyn, Austin, Tyson, Sydney (their spouses) Ayva and Jyllian along with 7 great grandchildren. Marion also leaves behind her sister Joyce and brothers Rick, David, Monty (their spouses) and Rob, many nieces and nephews and numerous extended family members to mourn her loss.
She was predeceased by her second husband Wally Parker in 2014, her parents John Rodney and Evelyn Robinson, grandson Tyrell, stepson Craig, her sister Jean and her 2 brothers Darrell and Butch.
No service will be held at this date. Please consider a memorial donation to the North Okanagan Hospice House in Vernon as they are amazing. Also, if you know someone with dementia, please love them a little harder.
