In Loving Memory
Margaret (Peggy) Balfour
It is with profound sadness that the family of Margaret (Peggy) Balfour share her passing after a short battle with cancer on March 3, 2023. Peggy passed peacefully with her family by her side.
Peggy’s life was her family; sister to Edgar (Debbie) Marriott; mother to Kelly (Bob) Bibby and Kevin (Christine) Balfour. Grandmother to Ashley (Tyler) Willan, Joshua (Kristy) Bibby, Sean Bibby and Rachel (Tyson) Bibby, as well as her much loved 8 great-grandchildren; Isaiah, Nixon, Mila, Madden, Josie, Olivia, Boden and Lakey.
Peggy was predeceased by her grandson Joel Balfour, her parents, and her brothers; Art, Alex and Randy Marriott.
Peggy was born in Penticton in 1942. Vernon was her home for many decades. Peggy was an employee of BC Hydro for many years and was known more for her beautiful gardens and her sewing and crafts that she sold at Christmas Craft shows for many years.
Family and friends are asked to join us in a celebration of her life at Schubert Centre on Saturday, March 25th from 2pm to 4pm.
We shall miss this beautiful, strong, giving woman greatly, but will always carry her in our hearts.
