Lyster Edward A. Holt

Lyster Edward A. Holt born on June 16, 2014 passed away peacefully, with his family by his side.  Lyster was a great Dad.  He is survived by his wife Marge, son Pat (Chrysie), daughters Deanie (Gary) and Lori.  Grandpa had 2 grandchildren Garret and Jordyn who will miss him very much.  Lyster worked for Pacific Great Eastern Railway in Lillooet, BC where he lived until 1961 when he and his family move to North Vancouver, BC.  He retired from what then became British Columbia Railway after 37 dedicated years of employment.  Lyster was an avid baseball player, who later coached and played softball as well.  He also attended and won at the BC Senior Games in darts.  Lyster and Marge retired to Vernon in 1985 where he lived out the remainder of his days.  The family would like to thank the staff at Vernon Polson Multi-Care Facility for the wonderful caring support of our Dad.
