In Loving Memory

Linda Maureen Fedyniak

Linda M. Fedyniak

(Nee Potts)

Linda passed away suddenly, surrounded by the love of her family, on January 8th, 2026.  She was predeceased by her sister Melvina and brother Ken.

Linda was born on December 26, 1951, in Drumheller, Alberta. She will be lovingly remembered by her devoted husband, Mike Fedyniak of 44 years; her children Jen (Blair), Melissa, Michael J. (Kali), and Leroy; and her cherished grandchildren Avery, Benson, Eva, and Grady, along with her sister Lorraine, brother Gary, sister in-laws Vicky, Shirley, Connie, Audrey and Linda, brother-in-law Mike and numerous nieces, nephews and friends who were the light of her life.

Linda met the love of her life Mike, while working together in Vernon. Together they built a beautiful life and planted deep family roots in Vernon, where they lived and farmed for more than 40 years. Their family farm was not only a place of hard work, but a gathering place filled with love, laughter and strong values.

Linda was known for her breathtaking blue eyes, her heartwarming smile and the ability to lift everyone’s spirits. She volunteered countless hours at her children’s schools and sporting events, coached soccer and ran a successful cleaning and glove business throughout the Okanagan. Linda loved working at Tim Horton’s where her customers enjoyed her friendly conversations and she could brag about her family. She had an incredible work ethic and a heart that always found time to help those around her.

Linda found joy in the simple pleasures of life while gardening, canning, milking cows and when time allowed, a game (or two) of crib. She was passionate, kind and deeply empathetic, always putting people first and making everyone feel valued.

A proud wife, mother and grandmother, Linda loved watching her children play sports and cheering on her grandchildren at the hockey rink. She was everyone’s biggest supporter and her familiar presence on the sidelines smiling, cheering and encouraging will be deeply missed.

Linda’s legacy is one of love, generosity and unwavering support for family and friends. She will be forever remembered and dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Linda (Mom, Grandma & Bumski) Love you to the moon and back!
