Larry Earle Macdonald
A long time Kamloops resident passed away suddenly on February 19, 2024, at his home. Larry leaves friends and family with many memories of his life. Larry had many interests in his life one of which was the Chilliwack Players Guild, that interest was shared by his Chilliwack High School friends. He was an avid motorcycle rider and a member of the Sun Country Riders Motorcycle Club. Larry worked as a Mill Wright for High Valley Cooper for 33 years and was proud of his trade. Larry also enjoyed his Friday Pub night and Sunday breakfast club.
As Larry had no children of his own, he treated his nieces Arlene Heimbechner and Tanya Holland as his own. Larry is predeceased by his parents Earle (1998) and Florence (1993) Macdonald and his sister Joyce Doughty (Ted) 2023.
He is survived by his siblings Howard Macdonald (Susan), Patricia Stevenson (Tim), Judy Scott (George) and Shirley Gust. Nieces Arlene Heimbechner (Shane) and Tanya Holland (Mike) and Great niece Kaylene Heimbechner (Evan) and Nephew Mathieu Holland. Larry has many more nieces, nephews, including some great nieces and nephews and even great, great nephews.
He was loved by all of them, he was UNCLE LARRY.
At Larry’s request there will be no service, cremation, and his ashes will be spread by the family in the summertime.
If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Canadian Heart and Stoke Foundation.
