Kenneth McCall Harrington

Ken Harrington was laid to rest at Lakeview Memorial Gardens Cemetery
on April 4, 2025. He leaves behind his loving wife Nancy, son Scott, daughter Heather
brother’s Doug (Joanne), Don (Kathy) and sister Anne (Joe), along with many nieces and nephews, cousins, longtime friends and neighbours.

Ken was very active in the Oil + Gas industry in Calgary, AB for many years as a Geologist. He and Randy Paulin (Engineer) formed Cimarron Petroleum Ltd. Which grew into a very successful organization.

After retiring in 1999 , Ken and Nancy moved from Calgary, AB to Oyama, BC. It was in BC that they purchased an acreage. Ken quickly got to work and established several vegetable and fruit gardens; needless to say, Ken loved his gardens. He was also overjoyed to be back living in his home province of BC.

Ken was an avid fly fisherman. Ken planned many fishing adventures throughout the years, most involved his cabin on Hihium Lake. Many fisherman friends from Alberta and BC, has the privilege of accompanying Ken throughout the years to the cabin. Family would often gather at various times at the lake.

Many thanks to Barry Walker (COG) who officiated Ken’s graveside service. Also, to Tyson and Lakeview Cemetery and Chelsea with Cypress Funeral Home.  The family is grateful for all your help during this difficult time.
