In Loving Memory
Karen Kathleen Loose
It is with deep sorrow and profound love that we announce the passing of Karen Kathleen
Loose a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, friend and caregiver, who left this world on
November 8, 2024. She was a true angel, whose boundless love, compassion and empathy
touched the lives of everyone she encountered.
As a dedicated care aide, Karen spent her life selflessly caring for others, offering kindness,
comfort and a listening ear to those in need. Her heart knew no bounds, and her ability to offer
unconditional love was a gift to all who were fortunate enough to know her. Whether tending
to her family, friends, or those in her care, Karen had an extraordinary ability to make others
feel valued and loved.
Her life was a living example of the power of kindness, and she will be deeply missed by all who
had the privilege of crossing her path. She leaves behind a legacy of love, empathy, and
selflessness that will continue to inspire all who knew her.
Karen is survived by her loving husband, Jacob, their two sons Lance (Caitlin) and Troy, and
grandchildren, Tyler, Jayden, Emily and Taylor, whose love will love on in the hearts of her
family forever.
Rest in peace, Karen. You were our angel on earth, and your love will continue to guide and
uplift us all.
A celebration of her life will be held at the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Vernon, B.C. on
December 14, 2024 at 1:30pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made
to the Canadian Cancer Society in her name.
