It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Justin Douglas Wurz on December 27, 2023, at the Vernon Jubilee Hospital. Justin was born February 19, 1991. His family is at a great loss. Justin is survived by his parents Doug & Gerry Wurz of Vernon, BC. Forever remembered and loved by his sister Nazarena Wurz, his dog Tiegris, and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. He will be sadly missed by many friends. Justin was predeceased by his grandparents Antonio and Rosina Costa, Tom and Darlene Wurz as well as his Uncle Francesco and Auntie Wanda Costa and his dog Bentley. Justin graduated from Clarence Fulton Secondary School in 2009. Justin played all sports although his passion was golf. Justin was a great young man, a fantastic golfer with a true passion for the game. He loved to golf with anyone that was up for it. Especially with his dad, Uncle Sam and longtime school buddies. Of course there was always a friendly bet involved. Thank you to all his doctors, nurses and support staff at the Vernon Jubilee Hospital. A Celebration of Life will be taking place on Sunday April 28, 2024 at 2:30pm at the Vernon Golf & Country Club.

I remember when he won his first championship at VGCC…he hit his drive in the green side bunker and proceeded to birdie 18. I asked him for the ball with his signature on it…lol…going to miss ya J Dub..
