Joseph Schumaker

Joseph Schumaker, of Vernon BC, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife Thelma, children Darrel (Kaye), Sanna (Doug), Farren; grandchildren Leah (Vic), Troy, Tom and many loving nieces and nephews.

Joseph was born in Sedley, Saskatchewan. His family moved to Kelowna where he grew up. He was the last surviving member of the first generation of Schumakers in Canada.

Joseph served in the Canadian Military in Germany. He worked at Cominco for 42 years and moved to Vernon in 2003.

At Joseph’s request there will be no service.
