It is with sadness I learned of John’s passing.

I have many fond memories of John including a trip in 1971 to Alberta in the original McKechnie Bros Freightliner.

John and the McKechnie family were a large part of the history of our area.

My sincere and heartfelt condolences to the family at this most difficult time.

    May peace wth with you.

    Sincerely

    David Fletcher

There will never be a man like John. He was the hardest working, and most honest person I’ve ever met. He admired his grandfather and hope to live as long has he did……he came close.

I remember John as a kind man with a sense of humour. Hope he is now enjoying reconnecting with his other family members. Sending prayers and comforting thoughts to those of you he has left behind.
