In Loving Memory

Jeanne Ray Fisher

It is with the heaviest of hearts we say goodbye to Mom of Kelly & Dean, Gramma to Codi & Brett, Great Gramma (Gigi) to Jay, Beau & Blake. Jeanner was adamant she did not want a service, so in honouring her wishes we are having a “Jeanner” with a celebration of life. It will be held Sunday, September 10, 2023 at the Armstrong Legion at 12:30pm. Pictures and stories welcome.

In lieu of flowers Jeanne loved animals so any donation to a rescue society, SPCA or Humane Society would be greatly appreciated.

Kelly and family, I offer you my condolences on the passing of Jeanne. We have a lot of history together and she is often in my thoughts. We played softball against each other and then slopitch together for years. We were part of the same party crowd in Armstrong. We travelled across Canada by car together. We were active members of the Armstrong Ladies Club and played foot canasta every Thursday at Chellan’s for years. I am going to miss her caustic sense of humour and her lessons on how to save money. She was a very special person. My heart goes out to at this time of loss.

It is with heavy heart that we think of the loss of my twin sister Jean. Although distance separates us, we are with you all in thought and spirit. She had a great sense of humour and laugh that will remain with us.
