In Loving Memory

Jamie Leigh Givens

Jamie’s final sunset was at Royal Inland Hospital, surrounded with  much love from all of her family and many friends. She was the youngest daughter of Sheila Stokes and Bruce Stokes and Kara Stokes’ little sister. Jamie was a loving mother to Geoffrey Roger Stokes (age 20), Kellen Christopher Givens (age 15) and Peyton Leigh Givens (age 14).  She grew up in Barriere, B.C. and moved to Kamloops when she was 19. Jamie was a prolific writer and an artist. Writing poetry, drawing, painting, gardening and collecting rocks for jewelry making were a few of her many hobbies. Although she was only with us for 40 years, Jamie impacted the lives of many. She will be greatly missed.
