In Loving Memory

James Albert Tidball

It is with sadness that we share the passing of our Dad, Jim Tidball, on October 9, 2025 at the age of 92. He married his Penticton High School sweetheart, Janan Brodie. He will be deeply missed by his family: wife Janan – Vernon; son Ron (Sue) and their children Jeff and Greg – Burnaby; son Doug (Tracy) – Calgary; and son Bruce (Karen) and their children Adam, Rachel, and Jessica – West Vancouver.

Jim lived a full and active life, fondly recalling his experience attending the King’s Scout Jamboree in Ottawa in 1949. A dedicated athlete in his youth, he excelled in track & field and basketball. Jim carried that love of activity throughout his life including golf, curling, skiing, cycling, multiple marathons and the Vernon triathlon.

Jim will always be remembered for his great sense of humour and kindness.

At Jim’s request, there will be no service.
