Many childhood memories come rushing back as I pen this tribute to an amazing woman, grandmother and mother.
Aunt Jackie ( or Jake as we called her) was a huge part of our lives as we grew up. She was my moms younger sister and was always there at family outings and holidays
A big hockey fan, a tireless worker and a strong lady who raised a family alone in a different time, she was tough and straight to the point without fail.

We will miss you, but your influence will live on in all the people you touched and the huge family that grew from your tireless efforts

If heaven has a metro de Montreal Jackie will no doubt soon know every station.

    Love, Patrick, Cassandra, Ivy,Sophie&Madison.

Our most sincere condolences to Jackie’s family. She was a dedicated member here at the Parkinson Senior Centre. She was integral in forming our growing scrabble club and worked very hard to keep the group connected. Jackie was always kind, always smiling and a full participant in many of our celebrations here at the centre. We had the opportunity to chat as recently as September 19 when she attended our Annual General Meeting, again a testatment to her committment to the centre. Her memory will be cherished and her beautiful presence will be missed.

    May she rest in peace

Please know that we are mourning with you the loss of Jacky, who was a very dear aunt and great aunt. We find comfort in the knowledge that her kindness, compassion and spirit will live on though those she has left behind. She was cheerful and witty, enjoy teasing people . With a very competitive spirit when playing card games. She enjoyed winning. Try to remember the little things, the shared smiles, the warm hugs, the laughter.

    Love
Nancy, Gilles, Jean, Christine, Patrick, Catherine and Mark

Auntie Jackie will be missed but never forgotten! My moms younger sister and a good role model with a great sense of humour.
Lots of good memories of fun times and laughs.
    ❤️❤️❤️

  6. Theresa Gilmour says:

My family and I were very saddened to hear of Jackie’s passing.

She and my Mom were such good friends; keeping in touch weekly for years when distance separated them. After my Mom’s passing, Jackie would so kindly check in with me weekly to see how we were doing and continue to get the family updates.

Sincere sympathies to the whole family and may she rest in peace.
