Jacqueline Beverley Dilts (Mills), 90

Jacqueline Beverley Dilts (née Mills) passed away peacefully on February 12, 2026, in Vernon, British Columbia. She was born on November 7, 1935, in Vernon and raised in Armstrong, BC.

Predeceased by her husband, Irwin Ralph Dilts; her parents, Ivy (Connatty, Mills) Reed and John Hardinge Mills; her stepfather, Art Reed; and her sister and brother, Jacqueline is survived by her children: Jack Dilts; Brenda Marchuk; Kalvin Dilts and his wife Gwen; Sherry (Dilts) Hackman and her husband Matt Hackman; and Dwayne Dilts; 12 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Jacqueline and Irwin moved to Lumby, BC, when Jack was one, later retiring to Vernon. She was a woman of many talents, enjoying sewing, quilting, knitting, crocheting, and ceramics, creating cherished items for her family and trophies for community ball tournaments. She also loved curling at the Lumby Curling Club and golfing in Cherryville.

Known for her direct, fun spirit, Jacqueline was always there for her family and friends. Her warmth, creativity, and love touched the lives of many and will be fondly remembered.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
