It is with heartfelt sadness we announce that Herta Mueller passed away peacefully February 27, 2024 in Calgary, AB. A service for the late Herta Mueller will be held at 10:30AM Friday, March 8, 2024 at the Mission Springs Church of God 3705 Mission Springs Rd. Kelowna, BC. Afterwards a burial will take place at the Kelowna Memorial Park Cemetery, and everyone is invited back to the church for a luncheon.

Dear Mueller Family,
I’m so sorry about your loss. I can only imagine how difficult it is to go through this.
Herta was a wonderful Aunt to me, and I have many warm memories of her. She was always so kind and caring, and had a way of making people feel welcome and at ease. She would take interest in you, and ask questions to make you feel seen. I really appreciate the extended family of Aunts and Uncles, and how much community they built for our family — and Herta was a part of that!

Dear Daniel, Benita, Herbert, Werner and your families,
We wish you our deepest sympathies on the loss of your dear mother and grandmother. She was a wonderful child of God and a blessing to us. We had many great conversations with her while she was still able to communicate.
May God comfort you all with his comfort as you grieve her loss, but we are thankful she is in heaven with Jesus, whom she served wholeheartedly.
