Condolences to the Major family. .Prayer to all. God Bless
Thinking of your family as you celebrate the life and memories of Harold. My sincere condolences to all.
Even upon this leaving or passing(it is impossible to untangle the threads)the tapestry of such a grand life, sleyn & embroidered, sculpted in reverence
“What is Woven” woven as in wood/ in window glass, the way all of our hearts were & still are: sewn to his door. And even though the darkness, the clouds, the torrent rain of his passing will @ times come rattling back to us; in the tapestry of such a grand life “ What is Woven “ that which is forever growing reaching out into the beyond; will be our comfort! For one moment life is a stone in you, the next a Star!
Uncle Harold has always been a constant guiding light in all our lives
( celestial/ galactic) forever & beyond!
Moreover all through the landscape of my childhood and even now as I fade into my senior years he has always been & forever will be a” weather worn pillar of a man!”
A “Shinning Knight”, That “Hesitant Hero”like Jimmy Stewart in an Old Western or a Christmas story!
I have this vivid remembrance of pulling up to the farm one day on a visit with my Father. Uncle Harold was coming out of the barn, with that amble, his easy grace, there was this air about him, the blue light of day thinly surrounding him
like a song —— before it was a song, then he flashed us that smile! “ the curve that sets everything straight “ that smile he greeted me with /in every meeting-my whole life “a Festival of Mirrors!” I will miss that flash of smile the most — but find it once again when “snow- stars” glint on my window sill or when a candor of sunlight comes flowing through the timbers!
Rest In Peace Dear Uncle Harold & to all My Heartfelt condolences! Dale
