In Loving Memory

Glen Trueman

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Glen Trueman on October 8, 2025, at the age of 80. Glen was born on May 7, 1945, and made his home in Enderby, BC for most of his life.

Glen will be deeply missed by his loving spouse, Gwen, and his daughters, Sherry and Dani, who were blessed to have him as a steady, caring presence in their lives. He was a proud grandfather to Rayann, Alexis, and Ethan, and a cherished great-grandfather to Charlie, Jaxon, Brynlee, and Ellie.

Glen found great joy in his work as a truck driver, a job he loved not only for the open road but for the chance to connect with the farmers he served. He was known for his kindness, compassion, and willingness to lend a hand to anyone who needed it.

At home, Glen’s heart also belonged to the animals he loved—especially his loyal feral cats, Blackie and Scruffy, and his grand-dogs, Timmy and Lucy. His quiet presence, gentle humour, and genuine care for others will be remembered always.

A private family celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Those who knew Glen will remember him not for grand gestures, but for the simple, steadfast ways he showed up—with a helping hand, a kind word, and a heart full of love.

In honour of Glen’s love for animals, the family asks that donations be made to the BC SPCA in his memory. Glen would have deeply appreciated any gesture that helps give animals the care and kindness he believed they all deserve.
