Donald Robert Williams

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our loving husband, and father, Donald Robert Williams on January 12 2023 at 84 years of age.

Don passed away with his wife by his, after a lengthy and courageous journey with cancer.

Don was born in Calgary relocating to Vernon in the early 1970s. He lived out his life happily here enjoying skiing, waterskiing, boating,  and especially camping.

If Don wasn’t camping you could often find him puttering around in his garage, woodworking shop, in his yard or at the dog park.

Don’s passion for animals, his dogs Bella and Winston in particular, won him the title of “ family pet sitter “ which he was very proud of.

Don’s love of family meant the door was always open, the coffee on and his left hand ready, willing and able to help at a moments notice.

Don had a great sense of humour, determination, and a positive attitude that inspired many.

Don will be greatly missed by his loving and devoted wife Gloria; his children Tracy, Shelley, Darcie, Judy, Linda, Cindy, and Joe; many nieces and nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Don is sadly predeceased by son Larry Corlett, his dog Jazz and too many family and friends to mention individually.
