In Loving Memory

Darryll Ross Jonah

Darryll Ross Jonah, 46, of Vernon, British Columbia passed away suddenly but peacefully on August 23, 2025 from losing his battle with cancer.

Born in Moncton, New Brunswick on April 7, 1979, the son of Darryll Jonah and the late Annette Jonah (nee Foster), he owned and operated Lakeview Fitness Equipment Repairs and was an avid snowboarder, mountain biker and wake surfer. He had an infectious love of life and inspired those around him.

Survived by his loving wife Monique (nee Wright), his beloved huskies, his sister Nalan (Darren), brother Mitchell (Darcie), his brother-in-law Murray (Alissa) and his nephews Samuel, Micah, Eli, Tyler, Luke, Everett and niece Emily; his father and mother in-law, Donald Jeffery Wright & Birgit Anne Christine Wright (nee Fabricius) .  He will be missed by many extended family who were like friends to him and many friends who were like family.

If so desired, memorials in Ross’s memory can be made to BC Cancer Society or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated. Ross had a deep love for animals so donating to any of those charities would be very close to his heart.

A celebration of life will be held in Sussex, NB at a date and time to be determined.
