In Loving Memory

Chad Nicholas Koroll

Born in Grande Prairie, Alberta, the middle son of three boys born to Steve and Cassie Koroll.

The young family moved to Kamloops in 1971, settling in Westsyde. Chad took all his schooling (K-12) there, making many lifelong friends. He was an excellent student without too much effort, always loved to read and learn new things. Chad had a varied working life.

He began part-time work at Coopers Westsyde store in high school and at graduation took on full-time. Transferred to Coopers in Revelstoke in 1988, he continued employment with them for twenty plus years. Then moved to Calgary and was employed at Safeway for several months.

He changed careers in Calgary, taking courses and joining the largest G.M. dealership in the city as a salesman, winning top salesman awards within a few months of starting. He then moved back to Kamloops where he went to work for Zimmer Wheaton for several months before changing careers again, becoming a self-employed tile setter under the name of KamPro Tile.

Starting in Revelstoke, then in Calgary and Kamloops, Chad for many years operated Rolling Thunder D.J. Service as a side gig, which he enjoyed immensely. He certainly knew how to fill a dance floor.

Chad was always interested in cars, music, soccer, skiing, politics, camping, fishing, and more recently in racing motorcycles, joining the Valley Custom Racing Team.

In both personal and business life Chad was organized, meticulous, driven, and hard working. He took great pride in anything he did. Chad had a very big heart (though he didn’t like people to see it). Very kind, very private, determined, and stubborn. He loved his friends and his family and always wanted to see those he loved safe and successful.

Always remembered for his sense of humor, his ability to keep things light, and his silliness.

Chad was predeceased by his Father Steve, all four Grandparents, Sister-in-law Amanda and (baby Kierdan).

Survived by Daughter Kenysha (Evan), Grandson Jack, and new baby arriving October 2025.

His Mother Cassie. Brothers Mark and Nephew Kolton & Great Niece Salem, Bret (Peggy), Nieces Jennifer & Hayley, Nephew Allan. Kenysha’s mother Trish along with Stephanie and Cindi.

An unbelievable loss of a good, good man. He will be so missed.

I went through Westsyde Secondary ( grade 8 eight onward); I didn’t know Chad, yet from this insightful description on his view of how to handle life fully and robustly, you can see that if he became your friend, ‘You really would have been his friend.’ Those so fortunate were bound to have enriched lives from their association and time well spent with him. -If we could all leave legacies that keep planting and tending within those around us until our day to go home. Condolences and blessings upon the family.
