Brunhilde “Hilde” Elisabeth Friebe
Hilde was born April 12th, 1935 in Shoningan, West Germany. immigrated to Canada in 1955 and married Uli Friebe in 1956. Together, they purchased and ran Enderby Bowling Lanes from 1970 to 1992, when she retired. A long time member of the Lions Club, Hilde received many honors including, The Lions Lifetime Achievement Award.
Hilde passed away peacefully in Vernon Jubilee Hospital on March 13, 2025, surrounded by family. She is survived by her Three children, Bill (Kathy), Germaine (Wally) and Mark
Grandchildren Tanya, Trevor, Tyler, Susan, Doug, Evan and Cameron. Great Grandchildren Hannah, Braden, Ella and Addison.
She was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandma, Great Grandma and Friend.
Your passing has left a huge hole in our family and hearts. You will be forever loved and eternally missed.

So sorry to hear of Hilde’s passing. Sending my thoughts and love to the family , in this difficult time. Wishing you courage , and strength now and in the future.
I remember her from the bowling alley days , always a great sense of humour! But you did not want her to get upset with you. A strong lady , I respected her greatly.
She lives on in all of you.
